# Billing & Pricing

Rabata has one public S3 Storage plan:

- storage costs **$6/TB per month**
- incoming traffic is free
- outgoing traffic up to **3 × average monthly storage** is included
- outgoing traffic above that allowance is charged at **$6/TB**

## How monthly storage is calculated

Storage is measured across the calendar month rather than from a single end-of-month snapshot. The billing system uses daily storage measurements to calculate average storage and the month's storage charge.

For a current-month preview, the average uses the elapsed days through the displayed data date. A closed bill covers the complete calendar month.

## Included outgoing traffic

Each calendar month includes outgoing traffic equal to 3 × that month's average stored data.

For example, if average storage for the month is 2 TB, 6 TB of outgoing traffic is included. Only outgoing traffic above 6 TB is chargeable. The allowance does not roll over into another month.

Incoming traffic does not consume this allowance and is free.

## Billing cycle

Billing periods follow calendar months. The dashboard can show an estimated current-month amount based on usage collected through its displayed data date; the completed month uses the full period.

Because both average storage and included outgoing traffic depend on usage during the month, a preview can change as later daily measurements arrive.
